The American Lung Association is looking for volunteers for it's annual LUNG FORCE Gala in San Francisco. The LUNG FORCE Gala is a passionate and intimate community gathering celebrating the collective power of our breath and voice to stand up against lung cancer and for lung health. Only a FORCE of many can take on lung cancer, the #1 cancer killer of women in the United States.
We are asking volunteers to please commit to at least one of these shifts:
3pm - 7pm or
5pm - 10pm or
4pm - 10pm

Description
For more than 100 years, the American Lung Association has fought some of our country’s greatest health threats. In 1904, the fight was with tuberculosis, but over the years our focus expanded to prevent or cure all lung diseases, eliminate smoking through tobacco control advocacy, and address environmental health issues.
Today, the focus is on healthy air for healthy lungs.
Since 1954, The American Lung Association in California has been saving lives and improving the health of Californians and their lungs. Through research, education and advocacy, we fight to reduce smoking, keep the air we breathe clean, prevent and treat lung diseases such as asthma and COPD, and eliminate lung cancer.
