Our Clothing Bank provides free clothing and hygiene items to individuals and families expressing need in Milwaukee county on a monthly basis. All of our items come to us as donations, which need to be sorted, washed, dried and hung on racks prior to going out to the public. We serve a lot of people each month, and it is often difficult for us to keep up with the demand for clothing.
A clothing sort can be done in any amount of time available (depending on how many donations we have on-site to go through). We have washers and dryers on-site, and to get two full loads of laundry done (washing, drying and hanging on racks) it takes at least two hours.
This opportunity is perfect for individuals, or groups of any size! This could be a one time, or ongoing volunteer opportunity for anyone who is interested. This can be completed any time during the hours of Monday-Friday from 10:00 - 4:00.
