Emergency Food Pantry

Our Emergency Food Pantry serves over 250 families in a month, and our numbers are increasing! We need volunteers to help serve our clients during our open hours, which are Monday and Wednesday between 12-4. During a regular shift you'll need to assist in receiving orders, packing bags of food from our pantry according to family size, distributing the food to the public, and assisting with crowd control. There is also always food to sort and shelve as well. The Emergency Food Pantry can get extremely busy, and we need upbeat people to help keep the energy and environment of the Resource Center positive.

Volunteers must be able to stand for 2 hours, be able to lift boxes that weigh up to 25lbs (occasionally), be able to maneuver around a small work-space, work well with others, have a positive and outgoing personality, and an open mind.

Each volunteer shift is 2 hours, and we ask that you commit to at least one shift a month (though more hours are always welcome!). The shifts that we are in need of filling:

Mondays: 1:50 - 4:00 pm
Wednesdays 11:50-2:00 pm

Adults, and seniors who are interested, please contact us as soon as possible for more details, or with any questions!
