Make a difference in the lives of young girls this spring as a Girls on the Run of Greater Richmond Coach!
We are looking for potential Spring 2018 Girls on the Run Coaches to be able to consider a Spring Season of GOTR.
Applications are currently being accepted! Each season Girls on the Run of Greater Richmond recruits and selects a dynamic group of coaches to lead each of our teams of 10-20 girls. Coaches are parents, teachers, school administrators, college students and other community members who are committed to developing and celebrating our girls.
Who IS A GOTR COACH? GOTR coaches are enthusiastic, dedicated, and positive women and men of all different backgrounds! Some are athletes and some are not; many have never coached before. All are committed to empowering girls with valuable life lessons and skill sets to help them navigate their world and grow healthily and confidently.
Coaches must have availability on weekday afternoons, twice per week over a 10 week Spring Season. We are able to take a limited amount of assistant coaches who can commit to 1-day a week for the duration of the season.
To learn more about coaching with us and to apply to coach this spring, please visit our website "Get Involved" page ->"Coaching" or click here: http://gotrrichmond.org/get-involved/coaching/
**** We are also considering launching a pilot one-week Spring Break program, April 2nd-6th. If this would be something you are interested in and can commit to, please fill out the application on the bottom of the page url listed above and make a comment in the comments section of the application indicating Spring Break is of interest to you.**********************************************

Our council is working to bring diverse voices to the table as we know that unique perspectives strengthen the quality and scope of our organization. We pledge to be a reflection of the communities we engage, not only in appearance, but also through fostering an atmosphere of community connectedness that serves as a model for our girls and other stakeholders.
