ORGANIZATION: Taller San Jose Hope Builders

Purpose/Objective: The Computer and Safety Educational Presenter will administrate an educational seminar on computer safety to Hope Builders participants during their orientation week.

Location: 801 N Broadway, Santa Ana, CA 92701/ 100 N. Harbor Blvd. Anaheim, CA,92805 Ste.200/810 Poinsettia St. Santa Ana, CA, 92701

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrate an educational seminar on computer safety, procedures and policies to youth participating in Hope Builders orientation week
  • Effectively communicate information regarding computer safety, procedures and policies with youth during their orientation week

Qualifications:

  • Must have IT experience or related (1+) year
  • Must be willing to address any questions or concerns to youth regarding computer safety
  • Must be willing to collaborate with Hope Builders staff members to produce a successful orientation week

Time Commitment:

  • We ask for a commitment of 6 months
  • Orientation is one week long; computer safety presentations vary (will be discussed)

Please be aware: Business hours are 8am-4:30pm, schedule will be based off these hours

Training and Support:

  • Orientation to Hope Builders
  • Introduction to program cohorts
  • Ongoing supervision from Volunteer Coordinator
  • Additional help can be provided upon request
