Do you want to help out at the library, but find yourself unable to commit to a set schedule? Then the Volunteer Corps may be for you!
Those who join our Volunteer Corps are kind of like the library’s emergency backup for events we hold here! Because we hold such a variety of events, we bet you’ll be able to find at least a couple that you are really interested in! You could spend your volunteer time making and passing out popcorn, or you could be our greeter at the door to help guide event-goers to the things that interest them the most.
This is the most flexible volunteer program that we have, only requiring you to come in to help a couple of times in the course of a year.

The Jackson-Madison County Library's Volunteer Program exists to utilize the community to better serve the community.
Description
Our Volunteer Program is being remade entirely to recruit those who have a desire to give back to the community. It is a new program with high goals, which we hope to reach with the community's help. We aim to enlist the help of volunteers on a regular basis in order to allow operations run more smoothly.
