After school is out, the Teen Room is always full of teens who are eager to read, play games, and socialize. We offer them a safe place to do all of those things, and also an opportunity to participate in new things-Maker Mondays, Anime Club, and other events we hold throughout the year.
With all of these events, our Teen Librarian could use a little help! If you feel like your interests would make you an ideal choice to help with them, then this may be the volunteer position for you! For the time being, our Maker Monday is the main focus, so we are looking for someone to come in and help with that program in particular.
This program is less flexible than most, as we have a very specific time frame for it-- Mondays from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. However, once you start, we think you will have a lot of fun! There are always new crafts, technology, and science being discussed and experimented with in the Teen Room!

Our Volunteer Program is being remade entirely to recruit those who have a desire to give back to the community. It is a new program with high goals, which we hope to reach with the community's help. We aim to enlist the help of volunteers on a regular basis in order to allow operations run more smoothly.
