Wake up and smell (and brew) the coffee! An engaging opportunity for an "on the go" volunteer who enjoys interacting with the public in a relaxing locale. A cafe volunteer will help with the cash register, assist with brewing coffee, stock displays, keep the cafe neat and chat with customers.
Food service experience is not required, a cafe volunteer only needs to be helpful and friendly. On the job training will prepare you to be successful volunteer.
TB screening and background check are offered at no cost. Volunteer jackets are required and are purchased from the Volunteer Services Department for $22. Volunteers enjoy free self parking.
The Cafe is located in the Fern Hill Medical Building less than 1 mile from the main hospital. The opportunity is available on Monday from 10:30am to 1:30pm.
