As the greeter in the busy out patient radiology dpearment, you will welcome patients and visitors as they arrive and assist them through the registration process. The radiology volunteer will ensure speedy patient flow, answer questions and provide directions with a smile. This volunteer will be to "go-to" person for creating a warm and friendly atmoshere in the out patient area.
Volunteers do not need medical expereince, only a willingness to be helpful and kind. On the job training will provide the skills needed to be successful.
Volunteer jackets are required and are purchased from the Volunteer Services Department for $22 during hospital orientation. Volunteers enjoy free parking.
This opportunitiy is available in the Fern Hill Medical Building less than 1 mile from the main hospital. This volunteer position is available on Thursdays from 12 noon - 4pm.
