Girl Scouts Louisiana East's APD (Alternative Program Delivery) provides the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to underserved girls in grades k-12. The program curriculum focuses on entrepreneurship, STEM, and development of transferable skills that will increase leadership abilities.

We are seeking adults ages 18+ to assist in guiding girls through our summer camp curriculum at various camp sites within Orleans Parish beginning June 4th - July 27th (orientation and training will begin prior to June 4th). The hours will vary from 9 am - 4 pm Monday through Friday, of which you will be required to work a minimum of 2 hours per week.

*Background checks are required.

Membership in Girl Scouts is open to all girls in grades K - 12 who accept the promise and law; women and men 18 or older can join as adult members. Membership is $25 per year, but no girl is denied membership for financial reasons. All girls are encouraged to become Girl Scouts, regardless of race, ethnicity, creed, national origin, socioeconomic status or ability.
