Join Brigade's CORPs (Core of Rising Professionals) on June 29th from 3:00-5:30 PM for a wild day of FUN in the SUN! Volunteers will assist by leading activities at 10-12 different stations on our games field. We expect about 300 Club Members, ages 6-18 (that's a LOT of kids), to participate in Field Day. Field Day will include physical challenges like dizzy bat, water balloon toss, tug-of-war, and other classic "campy" activities!
CORPS is Brigade's Young Professional Networking group which assists Brigade by implementing program activities and fundraising events throughout the year. This event is a great way to learn what CORPs is all about and get involved with CORPs down the road.
Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes, plan to get wet/dirty and come ready to lead any activity (with directions and support from staff). Please come excited and smattered with sunscreen! WARNING: Spontaneous Dance Parties are a big possibility.

Description
The Brigade Boys & Girls Club has been serving the Wilmington community for the past 113 years. The Club serves approximately 2,300 youth per year, ages 5-18, in New Hanover and Pender counties, and youth ages 5-14 in Onslow County
The Club provides diversified activities that meet the interest of all young people. Core programs encourage activities with adults, peers and family members that enable kids to enhance self-esteem and fulfill their potential. The Club offers program activities in five areas: Character & Leadership Development, Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, The Arts and Sports, Fitness & Recreation.
