If you're interested in law, speak Spanish, and would like to help our members in the pursuit of justice, being a legal services volunteer is a good match for you. You'll help immigrant workers recover wages that employers have refused to pay, learn about the practice of law, and fight against discrimination.

This entails meeting with members about their individual cases, gathering the information that we need, and communicating with workers about the options available to pursue their case. Volunteers will work under the guidance and supervision of an attorney.

The time commitment is from 7:00-9:00 PM each Tuesday, though we understand if you can’t make it every week. Prior experience is not necessary; you will receive training on how to be a legal services volunteer.

The training session required to begin your journey as a legal services volunteer is on February 22nd, 2020, from 10 AM to 1:00 PM at 11001 Midway Road, Dallas. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

If you'd like to help protect the legal rights of workers, sign up below or contact me at Cristal@workersdefense.org
