The Arc of Southeast Iowa is looking for a group of 8-15 people to help "winterize" our park (a.k.a. The Arc pArc). Our wheelchair accessible playground is not only open to our clients but also to the community. Every fall we prepare the pArc for the winter by raking leaves, cut back plants, and basically cleaning up the pArc area.
We can be flexible with the date and time of the groups arrival.
The Arc would love to share some snacks, stories and hot beverages with any interested Volunteers.

The Arc of Southeast Iowa started in 1957 by a group of parents and professionals interested in the welfare of individuals with disabilities. Since that time, The Arc of Southeast Iowa has been active in offering direct supportive programs to individuals with disabilities. From home and personal cares to job coaching, The Arc gives their clients the care they need to live as independently as possible.
