Visit patients in Lombard, St. Charles, Wheaton, Palatine, Lemont, Riverside, Westchester, and Beecher! College and High School Students are invited to join Harbor Light Hospice for Volunteer Opportunities at a facility near you. Compassionate students will visit hospice patients at least 4 hours per week for the summer. You can visit at your own convenience 7 days per week, and receive training and support from Harbor Light Hospice. Engage patients with conversation, humor, reading, taking outside, playing music or videos on YouTube, or sitting quietly while they sleep. You will make the day of a hospice patient while helping in your community!
A very worthwhile thing to do for your community and yourself this summer! :)
