Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing major gifts and outreach programs, including strategy, research, relationship cultivation.
• Establishing and overseeing regular fundraising appeals, awareness campaigns as well as any charitable events and special campaigns
• Identifying new funding sources, including (but not limited to) grants, in-kind donations, corporate and individual givers
• Managing prospect and donor database
• Creating and reconciling all development reports as required by management and partner organizations

Required Qualification

• Basic knowledge of current Microsoft Office Suite software
• Demonstrated experience and success in managing major gift campaigns and gift solicitations
• Strong understanding of financial management
• Outstanding management, organizational, and oral and written communication skills
• Impeccable work ethic and ability to execute projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision while using resources wisely to maximize desired outcomes
• Compassionate, positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Constant desire to learn, improve and innovate

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating fundraising programs from the ground up
• Professional experience with NGO and other non-profit organizations, preferably in developing countries
