We are looking for someone to help with all things volunteers!
Some responsibilities include:
- Running orientations for incoming volunteers (twice a month, maybe more)
- Maintaining all volunteer records (paper and electronic)
- Organizing volunteer events/outings
- Organize and manage volunteer hours needed at events/offsites
- Host volunteer meetings once a month
- Maintain regular communication with volunteers to address concerns and problems that may arise.
- Scheduling volunteer positions
We prefer two days a week at the rescue (one weekday one weekend) in order to get to know the volunteers but some work can be done from home.
