we are looking for volunteers to assist in the Castro Valley Book Store to clean and sort donated books for sale in the Book Store. It is a non-profit organization and all proceeds from the sale of the books are given to the Castro Valley Library to fund their many programs for adults, teens and tots. Training is provided.

The purpose of the Friends is to act as a liaison between the community and the Library to extend and improve local library services, and to stimulate popular and financial support of the Library.
Description
The Friends of the Castro Valley Library was incorporated as a not-for-profit in 1977. We serve our community by supporting the Castro Valley Library by providing funds for library services by selling donated books and collect membership fees.
