Have you ever used a Kindle before? Interested in changing the landscape of digital reading in Sub-Saharan Africa? Come volunteer with Worldreader Operations on upcoming projects to expand access to educational resources!

In the next few months, Worldreader is preparing to send thousands of Amazon Kindles loaded with digital books to support education in Zimbabwe, Ghana, and Uganda. We're looking for volunteers to help us get these programs ready.

As an Operations Volunteer, you will be directly involved in preparing Kindles and educational support materials for dozens of schools. Volunteers are expected to be available for at least 3 hours at our San Francisco Operations Center, a fun place to work and learn about using technology to transform reading in the developing world.

*Please note that volunteers must be at least 18 years old

Hours/Duration:

Open: M-F, 9am - 5pm

Hours: at least 3 hrs, on-site

Open period: May 14 - July 13

Responsibilities:

* Unboxing Kindles and protective covers

* Preparing program support materials
