Do you enjoy doing crafts or playing games? How about having a relaxed conversation with a senior?
The Benevilla Life Enrichment Programs are in need of volunteers to be part of one of our four different day programs for adults with dementia and other disabilities:
-Lucy Anne's in Surprise
-Mary's Place in Sun City
-Helping Partners (DD day program) in Sun City
-West Valley Life Enrichment Program in Peoria
These programs provide companionship, encouragement, and socialization to our community. Additionally, volunteers will assist the staff with implementing specific program activities for Life Enrichment participants. Such activities include arts and crafts, games, trivia, or assisting with musical entertainment.
We encourage you to consider participating by volunteering in help of others, as this rewarding work might be something for you. Orientation and training will be provided. An AZ level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card, current driver license, proof of insurance, background checks, and personal references are required.

Started by and for our community in 1981, Benevilla enriches lives of West Valley residents by serving older adults, adults with disabilities, children and the families who care for them.
Benevilla programs include our Life Enrichment Day Programs provide a friendly and specially designed atmosphere to best serve each member’s needs and provide respite for caregivers, Home Services for homebound seniors, Benefitness adaptive gym, Wirtzie's child development center, CARES Resource Line, Caregiver Support Groups and education opportunities, and so much more!
Volunteers are the heart and hands of Benevilla. Together we form a safety net of neighbors helping neighbors serving thousands of people each year. Because volunteers form our core, you’ll find a variety of opportunities to make a meaningful difference and develop close relationships that will enrich your life and the lives of others. Benevilla offers many rewarding, creative, and exciting ways to partner with them in service to the community.

- Orientation or Training
- LEP volunteers serve once a week for a 2-4 hour shift between 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.
- Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older, pass background checks, obtain a level one fingerprint clearance card, have a TB test. Orientation and pre-service training provided.
