Are you 55 years of age or older? Would you like to help and improve your community? Then you are a perfect candidate for the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)!

RSVP is the nation's largest network for volunteers age 55 and over. The growing segment of those age 55 and over is vital to strengthening our communities through their interest in helping others. Our focus is to incorporate meaningful volunteer opportunities that provide purpose and a way to give back to the community. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers as it matches their personal interests with opportunities to serve in their communities. Last year Pierce County volunteers served 89,000 hours...what a positive effect this has made in the community!

RSVP Volunteers are covered by secondary accidental and liability insurance (CIMA). This coverage only applies while they are volunteering. It is "Supplemental Only" and does not take the place of primary insurance coverage.

You will also meet people with similar interests, and have fun and feel good about your contribution. Your family will be proud of you and others will respect and admire you as a role model. Our focus is to incorporate meaningful volunteer opportunities that provide purpose and a way to give back to the community. We have Volunteer Recognition Events two to three times each year to celebrate our Volunteers and their success in the communityl
