Benevilla is a local, West Valley, not-for-profit organization that serves children, their families, and older adults with dementia and intellectual or developmental disabilities.

We provide free volunteer assisted services such as grocery shopping, transportation, friendly visitor/phone pals, and entertainers/groups to housebound individuals.

Benevilla is in need of warm, caring, and engaging BenePets volunteers, who are Therapy pet owners, to join us and share the joy of their pets, by volunteering time with seniors and individuals with disabilities.

We encourage you to consider participating by volunteering in help of others, as this rewarding work might be something for you and your pet too!

Orientation and training will be provided. An AZ level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card, current driver license, proof of insurance, background checks, and personal references are required. The area in which Benevilla provides these volunteers assisted services is Surprise, Sun City, Sun City West, Youngtown, Peoria, Litchfield Park, Buckeye, Goodyear, Avondale and Tolleson.

Helping people makes all of our lives more enriched and fulfilled.

Mission Statement

Benevilla. Enriching Lives.

Started by and for our community in 1981, Benevilla enriches lives of West Valley residents by serving older adults, adults with disabilities, children and the families who care for them.

Benevilla provides a continuum of care that promotes independence and instills a sense of dignity and self-empowerment, regardless of the ability to pay. We recognize that caring for the needs of senior adults reaches beyond the individual to the entire family. Not only do our well-established services offer assistance to senior clients, but many programs address the ongoing and changing needs of caregivers and families.
