It’s the 6th annual family fun day and fundraiser on the grounds of a working 1915 Petaluma homestead with free admission and parking, at 205 Orchard Lane, Penngrove. Plenty of live music (The Spyralites and Credo High American Music Ensemble), free activities, and lots of $1 parent-and-child games and contests with $25 prize Gift-Cards donated by local feed and country store sponsors: Rivertown, Hunt & Behrens, Maselli & Sons, Jay Palm, Frizelle Enos, Martin Ranch, Bataeff Salvage, Mead Clark, Western Farm, Garrett Ace Hardware. These contests are fun: Applesauce Challenge, Egg Toss, Help-Fire-Save-Me!, Grown-Up Face Painting, Egg Relay, Feed the Chickens, Learn about Farm Animals, How Many?, How Much?, The Portal of Time, and more. Photo contests are Cutest Baby, Best Hat, Amazing Pet, Hugs & Kisses, Parallel Family Play, and Families on the Tractor.
Volunteers park in the field for a 10am orientation, and receive an apron, instructions on how each booth works, and booth assignments. They also receive meal and drink tickets. Breaks (to eat or visit the restroom) are made possible by having at least two people at each booth. Lots of volunteers make it possible to change places, have fun, or possibly leave early. There will be live music, BBQ chicken, hot dogs, and cold beer in chilled mugs, and lots of free things to do and see in your free time. If

Mission Statement
Develop ways for parents & children to spend a little quality time together - for much needed joy and connection - striving for affordability, convenience, ease and fun!
Description
Artful Arrangements is a 501(c)(3) charity. We support young families that (typically) are short on both time and resources, by finding ways for parents, grandparents and their children to play together that are affordable and fun - because that is how children practice in public what is being taught at home about good manners, social skills, and respect for elders - before the kids get cell phones.
Our Programs & Services include: the Homestead Tour & Planting Experience, Family Activity Classes, four annual events (Down Home Day, Spring & Fall Open House, and Giving Thanks), Treasured Time Pick-Up Activity, Group Field Trips, and Free Saturday Drop-Ins. In addition, we set up a booth at public family events, offering free Parallel Family Play.
