Lemonade in Downtown Los Angeles needs help donating their surplus food daily to a local shelter. Volunteers will pick up leftover food from Lemonade between 2-5PM and drop-off the donation to a local shelter. Food runs typically take 1-2 hours and require a maximum of 2 volunteers. You will need a car and a valid driver's license for food pickup and drop-off.

In the US, 40% of food is thrown away daily while 1 in 7 Americans rely on food assistance programs to eat. RLC is committed to making food rescue sustainable by donating surplus food from restaurants, grocers, corporations, etc. to local shelters.
