Companionship Volunteers Needed for Hospice Patients (Trevose Office)
Kindred Hospice NEEDS volunteers to provide companionship and comfort to our patients and their families. A volunteer can add so much to a patient's quality of remaining life. If you have a caring heart, are dependable, and able to give a small amount of your time to help others, we would be glad to have you on our team.
Kindred Hospice provides compassionate care to those we serve during the end of life's journey through our commitment to clinical excellence and uncompromising service. Hospice volunteers provide services such as companionship, socialization support, playing cards/games, reading to patients, listening to music, crafts, puzzles, light meal preparation, or light housekeeping. Volunteers are assigned as close to your home, work or school. Volunteers are given choices of who they visit and where you go.
Kindred Hospice provides service for patients and families through Montgomery, Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester and Delaware counties. Just a few hours a month of your time and a caring heart can make a difference to those in need. Please contact our Manager of Volunteer Services Kathy O'Connor either by phone (215-322-5746) or email (Kathleen.Oconnor@gentiva.com) for further information.
