ORGANIZATION: NEW ENGLAND LEARNING CENTER FOR WOMEN IN TRANSITION INC

  • 2 people are interested

The Office Support Volunteer provides support for NELCWIT's crisis advocates in our Greenfield office by answering our business line and directing calls, doing clerical tasks as requested (copying, filing, organizing), greeting walk-in clients when advocates are not available. The volunteer also maintains our bulletin boards, making sure that they are up-to-date, reports to staff if new materials need to be requested from other agencies, and keeps the waiting area organized.

The Office Support Volunteer will ideally commit to working 3 hours a week for a minimum of 3 months. It would best serve our needs if this volunteer could do those 3 hours on Wednesday or Friday afternoons.

NELCWIT requires all volunteers to sign our confidentiality policy. Additionally, all volunteers and staff are asked to submit a CORI background check, which usually takes several days to process.

If you're interested in being our Office Support Volunteer, email sarah@nelcwit.org for more information or an application!
