Purpose of Role: to assist the quality assurance team in scanning and processing customer service surveys. These surveys provide direct client feedback. An essential part of the processing surveys is checking for defects, complete information, coded items, and comments so that surveys are accurately and completed processed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Quality Review - Pre-Scan: review completed surveys prior to scanning. The review addresses possible defects, key date and location code items, and comments. Redaction as required.
- Processing - Scan: Scanning involves the processing of pre-scanned surveys
- Processing - Comment Load: Comment load involves the loading of client comments into a central database.
Requirements:
- Excellent English written and verbal skills
- Ability to read/scan text in detail
- Ability to follow direction and attention to details
Time Commitment:
- We require a 2-4 hour time block, one time per week. (preferred days are Tuesday-Friday)
- We ask for a 3 month commitment to this volunteer role.
Supervision:
Quality Assurance Administrator, along with the coordinator of volunteers will supervise this role.

Description
The work of our Department tends to fall into three major areas:
- Increasing safety and stability of individuals and families through services such as child and adult protection, providing temporary emergency shelter, and more.
- Promoting self-reliance and a livable income through a mixture of federal and state programs, such as SNAP (food support), Child Support, Veterans' Service, cash assistance programs and more.
- Improving the health of the community through public health care programs, restaurant inspections, regulating emergency medical services, providing crisis response to behavioral health emergencies, immunization services, a public health clinic, and more.
