Volunteers help K-12 students with homework and (if necessary) connect them to Library resources like an online tutor using the Dayton Metro Library website. This is a drop in, first come/first served program. Students without homework (especially during summer months) can also choose educational STEM, art and reading activities.
This program is currently Monday --Thursday between 3pm--6pm. Volunteers can sign up for 1 hour or more but we prefer a weekly commitment.
Volunteers must complete a background check and training.
