Dine-n-Dash is a once a year fundraising event for Jose Andres's World Central Kitchen organization (www.worldcentralkitchen.org) to help support their ongoing work across the globe. For one night only, 35+ of DC's finest restaurants will close down for the participants of this event. Attendees will be provided with a wristband and between the hours of 6:00-10:00PM will be able to visit as many of these restaurants as they would like and try a sampling of their food and beverages for no additional cost.
We are looking for volunteers to help at the restaurants making sure guests are checked in, receive their wristbands, are provided with their maps of restaurants for the evening and answering any additional questions. BUT THAT IS NOT ALL. Between 8:00-9:45PM volunteers are allowed to alternate and partake in the event! Getting the opportunity to dine and dash at as many of the restaurants as you can. Volunteers will also be provided with a World Central Kitchen apron that they can keep as well.
