Lend a helping hand for a few hours each week!
CAP (Client Assistance Personnel) are volunteers who have the specific role of assisting clients with their various needs during pantry hours. These needs might be bagging their groceries, walking the groceries to their vehicle or sorting their items for the easiest way home. You'll get to know our clients as your work with them and speak with them as they go about finishing their pantry appointment. Be our liasion and let us know when clients have suggestions for how we can do better.
This position will be inside and outside throughout the pantry day. It may require lifting and walking on uneven sidewalks while pushing a grocery cart. Great for young folks looking to give a few hours each week!
Background check and child abuse clearances required. Bilingual volunteers are encouraged to apply.
