ORGANIZATION: Huntington Beach Public Library

The Genealogy Library Aide duties include:

  • Shelf Reader volunteers will maintain accuracy of our library shelving system; with regular review, assures proper placement of physical books by location. Basic math and computer skills needed
  • Tour Guide volunteers will give guided tours of the outstanding Genealogical Library on various days and locations. Schedule will be in tangent with the library open hours. Outgoing and a passion for Genealogy
  • Scanner and Organizer volunteers will work on the "Rescue the Research" program, Basic computer skills needed, understanding of Genealogical documentation. This can be completed at the library or off site if proper equipment is available
  • Library Worker volunteers are needed to be the Genealogy area to assist patrons
  • Must have computer skills
