Spanish Translator for Vision Screenings

Prevent Blindness Texas serves to prevent blindness and preserve sight through providing free vision screenings to uninsured and underinsured adults and children throughout the state of Texas. Our Dallas office covers the entire North Texas region, which includes 119 counties. Through our vision screenings, we can connect individuals to low-cost eye exams and free eyeglasses.

As a Spanish translator volunteer, you will:
o have the option of attending any screening events throughout the North Texas region that is most convenient for you
o have direct contact with our clients in helping to screen their vision
o use your Spanish skills in a public health setting
o make eye care more accessible for our Spanish-speaking clients
o be in clinic settings, health fairs, mobile units, schools, community centers, etc.
