Volunteer once a week, W or Th, from 10:30 am-12:30 pm.
You would lead a small group of students in helping them improve their conversation, reading, &/or writing skills. There would be individual work as well.
The time commitment is once a week through the first week of June, and then the 6 weeks from June 18-July 26.
There will be similar work this fall, so feel free to express interest if later in the year is better.
Training is provided.
We are on the Blue Line. Free parking is also available, although sometimes during the regular school year it is necessary to walk a block.

Description
Minneapolis Adult Education provides free classes in ESL, reading, writing, math, basic computer skills, and transition to work and college. Classes are available in the morning, afternoon, and evening. We are part of Minneapolis Community Education, Minneapolis Public Schools.
Volunteers participate once an week, for an hour or more depending on the class. We ask for a commitment of 3 months. Service learning has a different minimum.
