Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Relay is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in thousands of communities and 27 countries. Volunteers give of their time and effort because they believe it's time to take action against cancer.
Join us as a member of our Relay For Life of Linwood Event Leadership Team to bring the Atlantic and Cape May Counties together to remember loved ones lost, honor survivors of all cancers, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society make a global impact on cancer.
The annual Relay For Life of Linwood in support of the American Cancer Society is on Friday, June 8th, 2018 at Mainland Regional High School in Linwood, NJ. Any support for the event, leading up to it, and even after is greatly appreciated, as we start planning for the next year's event over the summer. We are looking for volunteers that are looking to help in a leadership capacity with planning, running, and raising awareness about our event. Anything from Activities to Social Media to In-Kind Donations to Team Recruitment.

Description
At Relay For Life events, communities across the globe come together to honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against a disease that has already taken too much. The funds you raise truly make a difference in the fight against cancer - just ask one of the nearly 14 million cancer survivors who will celebrate another birthday this year!
Relay For Life teams camp out overnight and take turns walking or running around a track or path at a local high school, park, or fairground. Events are up to 24 hours long, and because cancer never sleeps, each team is asked to have at least one participant on the track at all times.
