About BAJA CALIFORNIA SPAY NEUTER FOUNDATION

Location:

511 E SAN YSIDRO BLVD 5218, SAN YSIDRO, CA 92173, US

Mission Statement

To end unwanted litters of dogs and cats, homeless animal suffering, and overpopulation by providing low-cost, high quality, spay and neuter services. To promote and provide advanced spay and neuter education and training to veterinarians, while promoting the cause of humane animal care and responsible animal ownership through community education.

Description

Thanks to volunteers and donors on both sides of the border, the Baja Spay Neuter Foundation has been able to conduct Clinics in Tijuana, Rosarito, Tecate, La Mision, Los Cabos, El Barril, Bahia de Los Angeles and Ensenada. The Mobile Animal Spay/neuter Hospital (MASH) allows travel to remote communities that would otherwise not have access to quality, low cost spay and neuter services. In April 2010, some current B.C. Spay Neuter Veterinarians presented at an International Companion Animal Over-Population Forum at the Rosarito Beach Hotel and participated in an actual spay/neuter Clinic held under a tent on the hotel grounds.
