A hospice volunteer is someone who wishes to make a difference in the lives of the terminally ill by contributing directly or indirectly to the services provided by hospice care. Volunteers provide emotional support and practical assistance that enhances the comfort and quality of life for patients, their families, and loved ones. These services can include being available for companionship, reading to a patient, playing music for a patient, giving the caregiver a break by sitting with a patient, running errands, preparing meals, doing laundry, doing yard work, assisting with clerical tasks, performing Reiki or healing touch, facilitating support groups, as well as supporting community events like calling bingo or playing music in nursing homes or leading a rosary or other prayer service. Hospice volunteers often say their experience is personally rewarding and emotionally meaningful to help those in need at a critical point in their lives. Your volunteer work is significant and can make a positive impact in the quality of others' lives.

We are a hospice provider.
When you or someone you love is living with a terminal illness, quality of life matters more than ever. We believe that every chapter of life, even in its final stages, can be lived well. When time matters most, you can count on our team of compassionate hospice professionals to help you or your loved one live comfortably, with dignity, when a cure is no longer possible.
Meeting the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of each patient and family is our top priority. Our interdisciplinary hospice team of nurses, social workers, chaplains, counselors and trained volunteers offer the support patients and families need in the comfort and privacy of home. Counseling and bereavement support services are available to families before and after a patient’s death.
