We need volunteers to help us facilitate gender-specific group discussions for boys and girls, aged 10-14. Discussions will be age-appropriate and a variety of views may be shared in this informal, open forum. Youth will have an opportunity to air concerns and ask questions of same-gender adults in a safe, accepting and nonjudgmental environment.
Youth can benefit from participation in group discussions a number of ways. Sharing ideas in a group setting can promote understanding of other viewpoints, provide new ideas and ways to deal with an issue, reduce or eliminate feelings of isolation ("I’m not alone"), and promote overall improved social, mental and emotional well-being.

Description
Our mission is to improve the social and emotional well-being of youth. To do this we encourage youth to spend less time on electronic devices, like smartphones, and more time at "offline" activities and events.
For the first time in generations, our kids aren’t learning how to socialize in person. These days, too many young people are staring at a screen on their smartphone, tablet computer or another electronic device.
Let’s get our kids together, have some "offline" fun, and encourage them to interact the "old-fashioned way," Face2Face!
