Volunteers are the backbone of The Perfect Place. Our volunteers assist our Activities Directors with games, snacks and other activities. Each volunteer helps two to three participants play games such as cards or bingo, be part of conversations and word games, as well as do occsional crafts. The goal is not do it for our participants, but set them up so they can successfully do it themselves.
We have morning sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 am to noon and afternoon sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. We are closed on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
Sometimes may need help in some other for like dinners once and awhile if your able too
Volunteers are asked to schedule a minimum one session per month.

Mission Statement
The Perfect Place provides a safe, structured environment for socialization activities for seniors, thereby enabling their caregivers an opportunity for respite. Each participant at The Perfect Place is treated with dignity, compassion and respect as they experience; social interaction, gentle exercise, entertainment, snacks and games.
Description
We are a nonprofit Adult Day Care Facility that provides a safe, structured recreational environment with staff and volunteers to care for those who can not care for themselves. We provide respite and support for the caregiver. We have been serving the community since 2005 and besides providing care and respite we also offer occasional free presentations that address the challenges caregivers and families face as well as focusing on the many resourses available in our area that offer support.
