As of now, we are looking for a couple more people to help out on various mornings. Volunteers represent our organization and they will be expected to follow the rules and be respectful at each pick up location.
Our volunteers are dependable and able bodied. The crates can get heavy and you may get dirty. Each run takes about an hour total.
Volunteer on these mornings would go to location in Countryside/Clearwater in their own vehicle at 9:00 am. Having a truck would be a plus. You would volunteer with other people and work as a team. You would need to be able to pack boxes and lift them into your vehicle or someone elses.
After all food is loaded you will return to our location in Safety Harbor, unload and sort food. It would be helpful, but not necessary, if you had a truck and were able to also transport food from location in Safety Harbor to another location in downtown Clearwater to another non profit who could use our excess food.
All opportunities are rain or shine.
Also, we will add you to our email newsletter list so you can keep up with the happenings of the Harbor Dish. If you do not want to be on the list, please let us know.
