The Daytime Support Center at Sarah's Circle is looking for volunteers to help in our kitchen during the breakfast and lunch hours. We recently added another meal to our daily schedule so we need more volunteers to help support those efforts!
Schedule: Any weekday morning through early afternoon.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be reliable and responsible
- Must be willing to learn through practice
- Must sign confidentiality agreement and liability release prior to beginning position
- Must be willing to support the mission of Sarah's Circle by fulfilling obligations and completing tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
Responsibilities:
- Assist kitchen staff in preparing breakfast and or lunch
- Clean up the kitchen after meals (storing leftovers, running dishwasher, etc.)
- Help clients sign in to receive meals
- Present information that is relevant and appropriate for the client's needs
- Facilitate a safe environment
- Encourage community
