Front Desk Ambassadors assist with receiving and assisting guests to Polk County's Fire Rescue Office. Between guest visits, Ambassadors will receive, distribute and/or sign for mail/packages, answer phones, including covering phones for staff on break, and general office skills such as folding, stapling, collating printed materials. The assignment requires an ability to speak articulately, use proper grammar and work well with others. This is a great opportunity to assist our community heroes in making a difference in Polk!

Assignment is located in Bartow, off of U.S. Hwy. 17 South near what was once Polk General Hospital and directly behind the Frank B. Smith Human Services Building,

ATTIRE: Long pants (no jeans), with a nice shirt/Blouse (no sayings on them) and closed toe shoes

COMMITMENT: Choose any day(s) of the work week Monday - Friday and either shift: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
