ORGANIZATION: Meals on Wheels Orange County

SeniorServ is looking for a friendly visitor for a lonely, isolated senior in Anaheim. As a friendly visitor, you visit in the home of the older adult and offer conversation, friendship, and understanding. A commitment of one to two hours per week is all that is expected, which may not seem like much to you, but it will mean the world to this senior. She speaks only Spanish and is lonely. She would love to have someone come in and chat with her in Spanish. She would also like help walking outside.

As a volunteer you will be a part of SeniorServ, who provides services for over 900 homebound seniors in Orange County, to help seniors remain as independent as possible. SeniorServ's mission is to nourish the wellness, purpose, and dignity of seniors and their families in our community. The Friendly Visitor Program is an important part of that mission.
