Dog Socialization
Socialize and exercise dogs housed at the Louisville GRRAND facility (Must be 18+ years of age).
- Skills or Equipment Needed: Solid understanding of dog behavior, good leash management skills, and a constant concern for the safety of our dogs and the other volunteers.
- Reliable transportation is required to GRRAND’s kennel at The Pet Station Country Club (7924 Vine Crest Avenue, Louisville, KY 40222).
- Time commitment is flexible. We need volunteers throughout the day, 7 days a week, so you can choose times that work best with your schedule.

Golden Retriever Rescue and Adoption of Needy Dogs (GRRAND) mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home Goldens and needy dogs that have been abandoned, abused, or neglected along with those who are the victims of changed life circumstances such as financial hardship, divorce, allergies, relocation, illness, or death.
Description
We rescue golden retrievers, golden mixes, and other needy dogs and provide both medical care and if needed behavioral training prior to placing them in screened adoptive homes. We have a presence in the greater areas of Louisville, Lexington, Cincinnati, and Dayton.
