Day of Action is a volunteer event for the community to come together to make an impact where we live, work and play. Each June, United Ways around the world host this volunteer event! It is a day that we ask you to help us put our mission into action by volunteering to improve the building blocks[for a good quality of life - education, financial stability and health. Gather your friends, family and coworkers to help nonprofits across our community!

Our mission is to enhance youth success and family stability in the Pikes Peak Region by leading and lifting the most vulnerable in our community with mentorship, life resources and real job opportunities. Our signature programs and partner agencies intently focus on connecting youth and their families to resources at the beginning of their life journey to ensure access to fundamental needs of food, shelter and learning resources for all.

Pikes Peak United Way is focused on mobilizing and growing the caring power in our community! Volunteers are a huge asset to our community and our 25+ local nonprofit partner agencies. We connect with agencies, schools, individuals, and corporations to develop volunteer opportunities that make an impact in Colorado Springs. By recruiting passionate people and organizations, we can affect positive and long-lasting change.
