STEM Kids NYC is seeking a Documentation Specialist/Technical Writer who will be responsible for preparing and/or maintaining process, programming and operations documentation, procedures and methods, including user manuals, reference manuals, and other program and technical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Experience working at the highest level of all phases of documentation.
- Experience maintaining a current internal documentation library.
- Experience providing or coordinating special documentation services as required.
- Experience gathering, analyzing, researching, and composing technical information.
- Experience translating technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.
- Self-starter capability of working with little or no direction.
- Experience working in an agile and collaborative team environment.
- Experience guiding the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.
- Experience representing the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects.
- Experience interacting with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
