ReGroup Foundation was founded in May 2015 when Army Ranger veteran Antonio Ruiz and his partner Stephanie Solton; the mother of an Air Force A10 crew chief, decided it was time to do something about the alarming statistics surrounding our veterans. Specifically, they aimed to stop the suicide rates and homelessness so they went to work researching the problems and interviewing homeless veterans. What they discovered was that there are many smaller issues that lead to the bigger problems. They also discovered there are many great veteran non profits doing amazing things; however, there are clear gaps. One of the biggest gaps is providing the transitioning veterans a place to live while they take the time to explore their options, develop, and deploy a sound transition plan.

About REGROUP FOUNDATION

Location:

6525 GUNPARK DRIVE, BOULDER, CO 80301, US

Mission Statement

We are a national "hybrid" nonprofit foundation formed to provide transitioning service members a healthy, supportive place to live in order to prevent hardships (homelessness, suicide, divorce). We will provide military service members and their family members a physical location to live for 18+/- months at no cost to them while they "ReGroup". This time will be spent going through our 3 Phase (Discovery, Development, and Deployment) Program. They will get any counseling, therapy, coaching, mentoring, tutoring, or acquire skills needed for their new civilian lives. We will guide them as they explore all options (school or work). Being a hybrid non profit, means that we are only dependent on donations and grants through the acquisition and construction phase of each ranch; we will then operate aquaculture, agricultural, and ranching businesses on each property to generate the funds to pay for programs and overhead expenses.
