If you love animals and have experience handling horses, this opportunity will be an enjoyable way to earn your service hours for school. You must have your own transportation to our farm in Fisherville, Ky. Service times vary with all having a two hour minimum. Description
We are a 501 (C) 3 non profit corporation of all volunteers, trained by the founder to take our Miniature Therapy Horses to visit nursing homes, assisted living facilities, schools, and other places in the community. Our little horses love people and they are trained to visit indoors and out while remaining calm and relaxed as they interact with the elderly and children. Our horses are bathed before each visit and indoors wear descreet potty bags and little rubber shoes to prevent them from slipping or damaging floors with their hooves. They are each less than 30" tall and spread love and happiness everywhere they go.
