Job Description: Coordinate the recruitment of additional Doing Good volunteers.
Time Involved : Approximately 2-4 hours/month on your own time. No monthly meeting is required, yet ongoing communication is. Yet, attendance in the monthly "MeetUp" to meet other Doing Good volunteers is encouraged. It is held 6:00-7:30 pm the third Thursday of each month in a different restaurant in either Davidson, Williamson, or Rutherford county. (The location is kept updated on the DoingGood.tv website home page.)
Responsibilities
- Update job descriptions as volunteer opportunities arise.
- Use Google Drive to save updated job descriptions.
- Send link of updated job descriptions to Doing Good volunteer to update the Hands On Nashville posts.
- Send link of updated job descriptions to Doing Good volunteer to update the Doing Good website.
- Post updated volunteer openings on VolunteerMatch.org. (This activity is only for now. Another volunteer is being recruited for this for the long-term.)
- Post updated volunteer openings online when needed. Guidance is provided for where to post. (This activity is only for now. Another volunteer is being recruited for this for the long-term.)
- Stay in communication with the Executive Director who is the main contact for Chairs as volunteer opportunities arise.
- This position does not serve as the point of contact for those interested. Rather this position gets the word out about the volunteer openings.
