Join us from 10am - 11am, on Tuesday, May 21st for the next Colley Avenue Cleanup! Wear comfortable shoes and bring a can-do attitude, and we’ll make Colley Avenue sparkle. We'll provide all who show up with gloves and trash bags. Feel free to bring friends and family to this fun, feel-good event. We will meet on the corner of Princess Anne Road and Colley Avenue (750 W Princess Anne Rd, Norfolk Virginia).
After the cleanup, stick around for a free cup of coffee or tea at Elliot’s Fair Grounds. If you have any questions, contact Christina LaChance at Christinala@petaf.org or (757) 962-8759

About People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)
Location:
501 Front Street, Norfolk, VA 23510, US
Mission Statement
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is the largest animal rights organization in the world, with more than 3 million members and supporters.
PETA focuses its attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: on factory farms, in the clothing trade, in laboratories, and in the entertainment industry. We also work on a variety of other issues, including the cruel killing of beavers, birds, and other "pests" as well as cruelty to domesticated animals.
PETA works through public education, cruelty investigations, research, animal rescue, legislation, special events, celebrity involvement, and protest campaigns.
Description
PETA is dedicated to establishing and defending the rights of all animals. PETA operates under the simple principle that animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment.
