Vision Literacy

Vision Literacy seeks a dynamic, self-starter to assist marketing and communications efforts. We’re looking for creative individuals with marketing and social media skills to build awareness and support for adult literacy in local communities. You should have amazing communication skills, be super organized and feel comfortable working quickly and independently.

Responsibilities

Designing flyers, graphics, e-vites and other marketing material for events.

Take photographs and videos for ongoing projects.

Provide support in sending mailings and invitations.

Update the Vision Literacy website when needed.

Qualifications

Experience in selecting appropriate materials for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter is required.

Proficient using designing tools. Knowledge of HTML and graphic design a plus.

Vision Literacy is an award-winning nonprofit organization, dedicated to providing free, high-quality classes to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) and life skills to adults. By leveraging the unique resources of Silicon Valley, we empower adults and their families to succeed and thrive. In addition to raising their literacy skills, we encourage learners to pursue personal goals -- from engaging in their children’s education and helping with homework, to finding employment, starting a business, or becoming a citizen. We are located in Santa Clara County, California.
