Powered by volunteers, NW SolarFest is the largest and longest running grass roots organized sustainability event in the Puget Sound Region.

The fair is on the campus of Shoreline Community College on July 27 from 10-5.
Please note that this is in Shoreline just a 15 blocks North of the Seattle border.

We ask for a minimum 2-hour commitment helping in the various parts of the fair such as the KIDZone, the Transportation Zone, which feature electric vehicles (bikes and cars), Conversation Cafes, Information Station and as needed.

Many fun things to see and do; booths, presentations, tiny homes, food and entertainment. Make a day of it.

As a volunteer, you are invited to our After Party, which takes place at 6 pm on campus. We will wine and dine you with pizza and salad, beer and wine will be available. We asked that all volunteers RSVP for planning purposes.

If you have a special skill as a speaker on sustainability topics or as an entertainer, there may be additional opportunities as well.

There are also opportunities outside of fair day:
*distribute posters and postcards during the dates of June 20 through June 30
*put up street signs July 18-22
*help setting up the fair July 26 from 10 - 4
*cleanup, inventory, packing July 28 from 10-done (usually 1pm)
